2025 Summer Residence

The Rock School is pleased to announce that we will be offering three exceptional state-of-the-art dorm facilities for our dancers this Summer! Please note that dancers will be provided with a dorm assignment closer to the start of the intensive and do not have the option of selecting a residence location.

WEST CHESTER UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE

West Chester University dormitories offer air conditioned suites with two twin beds and full ensuite bathrooms. Full kitchens and free laundry facilities are available on each floor.

THE LOCATION

West Chester University dorms are located 9 minutes away from The Rock School for Dance - West Chester. Students will be transported daily for classes. Just beyond Philadelphia, you'll find a 400 acre campus packed with history and activity. Nestled between a bustling town and a nature preserve, there’s always something to do, see, and experience. Our campus is beautiful, it's historic, it's home. West Chester, Pennsylvania is the perfect mix of scenic nature and a bustling town. Not too small, not too large. A 10 minute walk from the 403-acre campus will bring you to Downtown West Chester – a historic town stocked with hundreds of shops, restaurants, cafes, festivals, farmers’ markets and events.

RESIDENCE HALL

Built in 2014, Commonwealth Hall located on North Campus is home to 651 students and open to all undergraduate students. Commonwealth Hall, an eight-story residence hall, offers suite-style living with semi-private bathrooms and amenities on every floor.

SECURITY 

West Chester University Dorms require keycard access to the buildings and dorms for residents as well as a staffed entrance to the building for security.

DINING

Breakfast and dinner will be offered in the on campus dining hall, conveniently located close to the dormitories. Lunch will consist of catered bagged lunches at the studio.
