Part Time Security Guard (multiple shifts)
The Rock School for Dance Education is seeking part-time security guard(s) to be stationed at the front reception desk of its Avenue of the Arts headquarters. Responsibilities include monitoring and logging persons entering and exiting the facility, confirming vaccination status and implementing COVID 19 surveys; and performing closing duties such as patrolling each floor, turning off lights, and checking locks for our 40,000 sq. ft. building.
Primary shifts are:
Monday 7am -3:00pm and. 3:00pm - 6:30pm
Tuesday 7am -3:00pm and 3:00pm - 8:30pm
Wednesday 7am -3:00pm and 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday 7am -3:00pm and. 3:00pm - 8:30pm
Friday 7am -3:00pm and. 3:00pm - 8:00pm
Responsibilities:
Occasional additional shifts available as needed.
Police/Security/Military background preferred, but not required.
Pleasant demeanor, as the guard is the first face people see when they come into The School.
Must be willing to submit for federal background check, child abuse clearances, drug test and covid testing
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
