2024 Summer Intensive Weekend Outings
All 2024 Summer Intensive dancers (residents and commuters) are welcome to attend weekend outings. Outings are sold on a first come, first served basis. All prepaid outings are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please double check the date of the outing to make sure your dancer is eligible to attend. Please note that dancers moving into the dormitory for the 3-week session on Sunday, July 7th are not eligible for the Philadelphia Trolley Tour Outing.
We have not yet released ticketing for our Summer Showcase performance and dinner; this information will be available in June! In the meantime, you may view outings descriptions below.

Ocean City is one of the most popular vacation destinations in New Jersey, giving you access to the beach and the boardwalk. Escape the city life and cool off for the day!
Dorney Park & 4th of July Fireworks

Eligible for 2, 5, & 6-week Philadelphia commuter dancers and 8-week commuter dancers*
Dorney Park is an amusement and waterpark located in the Lehigh Valley region of Eastern Pennsylvania! Spend an afternoon at the amusement park and enjoy triumphant fourth of July fireworks displays!
*If your dancer is residing at one of our residence locations and is enrolled during one of the above sessions, you have already purchased this outing. If your dancer is a commuter and attending one of the above sessions, you are able to proceed with purchasing this outing online.
Dancers will have an early dismissal on Thursday, July 4th, so they are able to enjoy the afternoon and evening at the park. Dancers will have a late start on Friday, July 5th, due to the late return on Thursday evening.
Philadelphia Trolley Tour

Enjoy seeing Philadelphia’s famous historic sites on a tour around the city!
New York City
Saturday, July 13th

Eligible for 3, 5, & 6-week Philadelphia dancers and 8-week dancers*
The day trip to New York City includes a meal and a ticket to Romeo and Juliet, performed by American Ballet Theatre. Dancers are transported by coach buses.
*Please note that dancers who sign up for this outing do NOT take classes on this date.

Summer Showcase Performance and Dinner

For 3, 5, & 6-week Philadelphia dancers and 8-week dancers*
Celebrate the end of summer with the Summer Showcase performance and dinner at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, New Jersey!
*If your dancer is attending the 3, 5, or 6-week Philadelphia sessions, or the 8-week session, they perform in the Summer Showcase performance on July 26th. Your previously paid performance fee covers the cost for your dancer’s participation in the performance and attendance to the dinner. Parent tickets to the show and the dinner will be available for purchase in June.
