ADAM CATES
Adam Cates received rave reviews for his Off-Broadway choreography debut The Brain from Planet X (NYMF-Theatre Row). He repeated his work for the well received Los Angeles production. Regionally, Adam has choreographed musicals such as A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum starring Richard Kind, Peter Pan with Jenn Colella, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and High School Musical as well as Inside Cherry Pitz for the Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland. His work has also been seen in casino showrooms, cruise ship production revues, and industrials for Walt Disney World. Adam has choreographed all star benefit concerts for organizations such as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Actors Fund in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Sacramento, and Montgomery. Adam served as an assistant choreographer to Broadway legend Tommy Tune on several projects including the National Tour of Doctor Dolittle (for which he remained on tour as the dance captain/swing and Mr. Tune's dance coach). In addition to performing in the National Tour of The Wizard of Oz, Adam's other credits as an associate choreographer and performer include 90210 (CW Network), The Music Man starring Shirley Jones, Antony & Cleopatra (Off-Broadway), Oklahoma! (Paper Mill Playhouse), Disney's Beauty & the Beast (Alabama Shakespeare), and The Wizard of Oz (Kansas City Starlight, Theater of the Stars and Casa Manana). Adam is on faculty with Dancers Inc. Conventions, guest taught for Broadway Dance Center, and conducted master classes for universities, conservatories and studios throughout the U.S. and Canada. Between all the traveling, he resides in New York City.
Adam's current projects include developing the upcoming stage adaptation of the 1975 cult movie The First Nudie Musical with original creator Bruce Kimmel, assistant directing/choreographing Little Shop of Horrors for Peterborough Players in New Hampshire, dance supervising Carnival of Wonders in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and serving as director for the Absolute Broadway program for DanzEmergencee, LLC. JACLYN DUNNE
Jaclyn dunne began her dancing journey at Jazz Unlimited in Marlton, New Jersey. She attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where she received her BFA in dance in 2005. Jaclyn has been a member of the contemporary jazz dance company, A.S.H. (Artists Simply Human) based out of Philadelphia, PA and performed with them in Budapest, Hungary at the Sziget Festival. They have performed in the Philly Fringe Festival and at New York City's Carnival Choreographer's Ball. Currently, Jaclyn is a performer in Atlantic City at the Trump Taj Mahal where she dances for the new Angels girl group at The Ego Lounge. Her eclectic, award-winning choreography has been seen at the annual New York City's Carnival Choreographer's Ball, Boston University's dance team, the Garden State Dance Festival in 2006, and as a guest teacher at University of the Arts. Jaclyn now teaches at Jazz Unlimited Dance Studio where she feels blessed to share her passion for dance with her students.
TRACIE STANFIELD

Tracie Stanfieldʼs work is as diverse as it is entertaining. DANCE MAGAZINE agrees, “Tracie Stanfieldʼs classes are inspiring.” As a guest teacher she has made a huge impact at Marymount Manhattan College, Pulse NY nationals, DEA, DMA, St. Stephens School, NADAA and master classes at The Rock School and Joffrey Contemporary Dance Intensive. In addition, Tracie continues to ignite excellence among dancers of all levels and ages as a faculty member at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center. Tracieʼs dedication and level of excellence as a guest artist, teacher and consultant insures her position as an authority on the cutting edge of dance and education. The proof is evident in her collaborations with Tapestry Dance Company, Verismo Opera Company, K-Broadway in Tokyo, TRIP Dance Company, Mesa State College and Dancers Inc.
Tracie Stanfield serves as the Artistic Director and choreographer of Synthesis Dance Project in New York City. Synthesis Dance Project's performance highlights include; The International Dance Festival, NUDance Now Festival, Los Angeles Dance Invitational, Towson University, The Grier School Gala, Garden State Dance Festival, The Next Stage Project, SoNo Arts Festival, The Provincetown Elan Festival, Promenade Relief Jubiliee,Hollywood Performing Arts Center and as featured guests of The Kennedy Dancers. Tracie is the recipient of the Spirit of Elan Choreography Award for her work with Synthesis Dance Project.
Tracieʼs unique voice as a guest teacher and choreographer have lead her to work in Mexico, Canada, Japan, Costa Rica and across the US promoting the power of dance through residencies, lecture demonstrations and choreography workshops. Her innovative classes include; salon series style performance workshops and her popular “bootcamp” workshop which features a series of short, precise classes and rehearsals culminating in a performance. Tracie Stanfield has served as Artist in Residence at St. Stephens in Austin, Texas. Her choreography has been seen at Youth American Grand Prix, The University of Michigan, The Elan Awards, Jazz Choreography Enterprises, Joffrey Ballet Center, The Rock School and numerous venues across the country. Tracie just completed choreography on the independent film, “The Fairy Queen” for Director Erin Levendorf and created an online video campaign for EOS/Caseology, proving Tracie Stanfield is, “an innovative voice in the expanding form of jazz dance.” - JazzDance E News

DANIELLE BOWER-Contemporary-Jazz-Hip-Hop Faculty
Danielle began her training with the Chester County Ballet Company and The Rock School West. She received scholarships to many programs including Tremaine, River North Chicago and The University of The Arts. After she graduated from UArts in 2004, she choreographed and danced for musical artists Hawk En Hill and danced professionally with Montazh Performing Arts Company. The past two years she has been living in Bermuda where she choreographed for the Bermuda Musical Festival, United Dance Productions, Bermuda Dance Company, and local artist Jazel, and she has had the opportunity to open for artists such as Angie Stone, Joss Stone, and Chris Brown.
KRISTIN BROWN -Ballet Faculty
Kristin Brown received the majority of her training in West Chester, PA
with Donna Muzio, Richard Hoskinson, and Cherie Noble. She was a
principal dancer with the Brandywine Ballet throughout high school and
attended the Performing Arts School of Philadelphia. Ms. Brown also
attended summer programs at the Washington Ballet, Richmond Ballet and
the PA Governor’s School for the Arts on scholarship. She also
performed professionally with Bay Ballet Theater (FL), Sarasota Ballet
of Florida, Berkshire Ballet (NY), Charlotte City Ballet (NC), Ballet
Theater of Pennsylvania, and The Dance Consortium, a modern dance
company in Dallas, Texas. In addition to dance, she holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Sports Medicine and was a nationally certified
Athletic Trainer. Ms. Brown has been teaching since 1993 and joined the
Rock School faculty in 2007.
KIMBERLY FORBES CAMACHO-Jazz/Tap Faculty
Kim Camacho graduated with a B.A. in Dance from Allentown College (presently DeSales University), after which she moved to NYC where she continued her education on scholarship at Broadway Dance Center and Steps. Her performance experience includes numerous live industrial shows for major corporations, television and print commercials, a stage performance at the famous Kit Kat Klub in NYC as well as appearing on an episode of Dawson's Creek. Along with traveling within the United States, Kim has also performed in Barcelona, Spain and Seoul, South Korea as part of a company based on the popular Broadway show Stomp. As an instructor, Kim has taught classes at The Koresh Center, The University of the Arts Summer World of Dance, as well as being on staff with The Rock School's summer intensive program in Philadelphia and is proud to be part of the Rock West family as Competition Director and Jazz Coordinator. Many of her students have gone on to perform professionally both on and off Broadway and have even been seen as one of the Top 18 dancers from the hit television show So You Think You Can Dance - season 2!
CRYSTAL FRAZIER-Jazz-Hip-Hop-Tap Faculty
Crystal Frazier is a native of New Jersey where she began training in dance at the age of six. She attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she earned an Associates Degree in Dance. Ms. Frazier began her training in hip-hop and became a principal dancer with "Rennie Harris Puremovement," where she made appearances in "Repertoire", "Illadelph Legends", "Rome and Jewels" and "Dance Magazine". Her choreography and performances have been featured in the Philadelphia 76ers Dance Team, Fringe Festival, Drexel University, University of the Arts, Encore Danses en Tournee in Canada, and in Taipei National University of the Arts of Taiwan. She has made appearances in the movie "Beloved," VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards with Macy Gray, BET Awards "Opening," MTV's Lip Service and Global Groove. Ms. Frazier also appeared on the TV show "Monk" on USA, "Groovaloo Show" in LA, video with Mike Phillips, Italy tour with Kathy Sledge and recently toured the "Big Beautiful Tour" with artist Jill Scott as a featured dancer/choreographer. Ms. Frazier teaches Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical Dance to children and adults throughout the states. Ms. Frazier is the Co-founder of Montazh Performing Arts Company, a female dance company in Philadelphia.
JIM GREEN - Hip Hop Faculty
Jim has fourteen years of dance training in jazz, modern, ballet, hip-hop and tap. He has primarily studied jazz, but now specializes in hip-hop including, popping, locking, waving and breaking as well as street jazz. His background also includes acrobatics and karate. Recently, Jim was a featured dancer in the Kick in the Door music video for up and coming artist, Santalina. He has also performed with Jade Sterling, Pretty Poison, hip-hop artist Ashanti, off-Broadway shows with Dan Karaty and with companies such as Flo Motion and Jazum Records and his dance crew opened for America's Best Dance Crew's Kaba Modern. Jim has been a guest teacher at The Rock School West over the past year and we are pleased to have him join our faculty this year!
NICOLE HARMON-Regional Director, The Rock School West/Jazz Faculty
Nicole Harmon received her B.F.A in Dance from The University of the Arts and a Certificate in Dance from New York University. She was a scholarship recipient at The University of the Arts, Broadway Dance Center in NYC and Tremaine Dance in LA. Ms. Harmon danced throughout the United States in theatre productions and industrials. She joined The Rock School's faculty in 2000 and has since worked as artistic coordinator for Rock West. Currently, she continues to teach jazz, as well as serving as the regional director at Rock West.
ANGELA BATES-MAJEWSKI
Mrs. Majewski started dancing at the age of five at the Anna Marie Dance Studio in Wilmington, Delaware. She was trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, and musical theatre. She continued her dance education with The Young Americans in CA while touring with them around the US for 2 years. She has also worked with Ann Reinking and the Broadway Theatre Project in FL. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Music and Mathematics from West Chester University. She has been performing all over the area in many musicals, and has also done some industrial work including performances at Radio City Music Hall with the Rockettes. Favorite roles include Lola in Damn Yankees, Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Mazepa in Gypsy, June in Chicago, Kit Kat Girl in Cabaret, DeLee in Smokey Joe's Cafe, Phyllis and Annie in 42nd Street, and many others. She has also had the privilege to choreograph “The Full Monty”, “Footloose” and “Black Patent Leather Shoes” at the New Candlelight Theatre, “West Side Story” at Three Little Bakers, “The Wiz”, “Seussical”, and “Urinetown” at the Wilmington Drama League, and many other musicals at local high schools. She currently teaches all over the Delaware Valley and has received awards for her choreography at many national dance competitions. When she is not teaching, choreographing or performing, she is being a mommy to her two little boys and helping her family run the family farm business. She LOVES her job! She is thrilled to be working at the Rock School West!!
Tara Nixon
Tara Nixon graduated Mana Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Business from Southern Methodist University. As a young dancer she was classically trained through the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus, achieved scholarship to STEPS on Broadway NYC and studied with the River North Dance Co. Chicago. Tara is currently a member of Tracie Stanfield'sNYC company, "Synthesis Dance Project," while also performing with Caryn Marie's "The Movement Initiative." Some of Tara's professional credits include Rick Atwell's "Confessions of a Dance Teacher," The Elan Awards, White Wave Dance Festival, LA Invitational, International Dance Festival, Heart & Feet Benefit for the Andrea Rizzo Foundation- Drea's Dream, and the annual SDP Summer Concert. Tara teaches and choreographs in the NY/NJ area including substitute teaching at BDC. Tara's students and choreography continually receive high honors, overall, high score and special awards, as well as dance team selections and entertainment and choreography awards. She is super excited to be working with the Rock School West!
