The Jazz Intensive offers outstanding training in a variety of dance styles including contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, theatre dance, and more.

Monday, June 25th - Friday, July 13th

Tuition

(Age 8-11) 

One Week: $475 Two Weeks: $875 Three Weeks: $1,195

10:45-12:00-Jazz Technique

12:00-12:30-Lunch

12:30-1:30-Musical Theatre or Hip-Hop

1:30-2:30-Lyrical or Contemporary

Housing

The Rock School Summer Housing is located at Cabrini College. Students have access to a modern recreational center with indoor pool, spacious new dorm rooms, beautiful campus, door-to-door transportation service, and exciting weekend activities.

Audition Time (age specific)

12:00-1:00-8-12 years old (Registration begins at 11:30PM)

2:00-3:30-13-20 years old (Registration begins at 1:30PM)

*Please arrive 30 minutes prior to audition time and plan for audition to run over scheduled time.

Returning Students

If dancer attended the Jazz Intensive in summer of 2010 or 2011 you are pre-accepted and audition is waived (including fee).

Pre-registration deadline: January 14th 2012

Audition Fee and Registration

$30 Audition Fee (Cash or Check ONLY)

Registration for the audition begins no sooner than 30 minutes prior to your age specific audition.

Audition Requirements

- Dancers must be at least 8 years of age by audition date.  Previous training in jazz and ballet required.

Accepting video auditions now!

Video auditions will be accepted through May 2012.  Call as of June 1^st to check if still accepting.

Please Include the following:

- $30 Non-Refundable Audition Fee. (Check or Money Order only.  Please do not send cash through the mail.)

- Complete video audition registration form.  CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD AND PRINT OUT FORM.

Video should include: 

- Solo jazz combination

- Jumps and Turns combination

- Video submissions must be in DVD or VHS format (DVD preferred)

- Videos are only returned upon request.  Self Addressed Stamped envelope must be provided.
