Weekend Trips

All Rock School students residing at Cabrini College and the Marine Club may participate in optional weekly group trips to places of interest and amusement in and around Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Zoo
More than 1600 rare and exotic animals from around the world.

Philadelphia Tour
Ride through the historic streets of Philadelphia. Splash into the Delaware River for a fun cruise aboard one amazing vehicle with the Captain as he entertains you with stories of past and present. Deboard at your next destination, the National Constitution Center, where you will watch "Freedom Rising," a mutimedia presentation. Then experience unique interactive exhibits taking you through our nation's important historical events!

King of Prussia Mall
The most exciting shopping on the East Coast...The Court and The Plaza. There are 450 specialty stores featuring Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, Macy's and more!

Ocean City, New Jersey
One of New Jersey's most popular beaches! There is unlimited shopping, eating and fun rides on the boardwalk. The ocean and beach provide swimming, playing games or just relaxing in the sun!

Fourth of July Evening Fireworks

Adventure Aquarium
Immerse yourself in the world of sharks, hippopotamuses, free-flying birds and seal life from around the world.

New York City
Travel to New York City in a luxury tour coach. Cruise the New York Harbor past the Statue of Liberty via the Staten Island Ferry to Manhattan. Shop at the South Street Seaport Mall. Attend a matinee of the Broadway show Legally Blonde at The Palace Theatre. Complete a fun day with dinner at Planet Hollywood, and end with a quick stop at Lincoln Center.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom
Join us in the beautiful Lehigh Valley for loads of fun at this magical family amusemant park including more than one hundred thrilling rides, water fun and other attractions, along with a special catered picnic.

Philadelphia Phillies Baseball Game
Spend an afternoon of major league baseball at the Citizens Bank Park to watch the Phillies challenge the Atlanta Braves...see the Phillie Phanatic and enjoy a large selection of food from a variety of concession stands!

Finale Dinner Cruise on the Delaware River
Welcome aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia, America's #1 Harbour Cruise Line for a three-hour cruise and enjoy dinner, dancing, entertainment...and our last evening together! Open to parents, students, chaperones and staff.

In their off-hours during the week, Cabrini College summer residents may choose from a wide range of recreational activities. Team sports (such as volleyball competitions), games for small and large groups, contests, arts and crafts, informal guest lectures, acting workshops, dances, parties and movies are some of the leisure attractions planned for the summer.
