Room & Board

The Rock School offers Room & Board (including meals) at both Cabrini College & the Marine Club condiminiums. Cabrini College residence houses both Ballet Intensive & Jazz Intensive students.   Students residing at Cabrini are supervised by parent chaperones and bused door to door from the dorms to The School building where classes take place.   Please read below for further descriptions of the Cabrini College & Marine Club summer residence.  

MOVE IN DATE IS ALWAYS THE FIRST SUNDAY OF THE CHOSEN INTENSIVE SESSION
for example: 2 weeks session - move in date would be Sunday, June 24th.

MOVE OUT DATE IS ALWAYS ON THE LAST SATURDAY OF THE CHOSEN INTENSIVE SESSION
for example: 3 weeks session - move out date would be Saturday, July 28th.
*please note* the 1 week session does not have a Saturday class. 
Students must be moved out by noon. 

CABRINI COLLEGE RESIDENCE
Available for female students 8-20 years old and male students 8-14 years old. 
A beautiful 112-acre campus in the suburbs of Philadelphia where students may enjoy the window-lined indoor swimming pool, outdoor tennis courts, large gymnasium, bookstore, and student center. Student accommodations are modern, air-conditioned, dormitory-style with community bathrooms, living rooms, and laundry facilities.

Arrival at Cabrini College 
Click here for Directions to Cabrini College.  Signs directing ballet students to West Residence Hall will be posted at all college entrances and throughout campus.  A detailed campus map will be given to each student on arrival at West Residence Hall registration tables.  

Registration for Cabrini Residents
Students must register upon arrival at Cabrini College for students attending the full 6-week program.  Registration tables will be set up on the first floor inside West Residence Hall on the Sunday of arrivals.  Registration for Cabrini residents runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm.  Each student will obtain an assigned room key, which must be returned at the time of checkout to avoid an extra fee of $100.

Orientation for Cabrini Residents (students only)
There is a mandatory welcome session the first Monday of every session, immediately following dinner.  Attendance is mandatory. 

MARINE CLUB ROOM & BOARD
Available only to male ballet intensive students 15-20 years old. 
Offering students supervised, safe, apartment-based living accommodations across the street from the The Rock School dance studios.

MEALS
Meals are included in the fees for residence students.  Students staying at Cabrini College will be served breakfast and dinner on the college campus, while lunch is provided at The Rock School's R Café while students are at Rock Center for dance classes.  Students staying at the Marine Club will be served all three meals at R Café.  Meals served at both locations are healthy and nutritious to keep your ballerina/ballerino energized to dance!  

Commuter Meal Plans will be available for purchase. **More information coming soon**

RESIDENCE PROGRAM DIRECTOR 
The Residence Director and Residence Assistant live at The Rock School Residence with The Rock School students.  They supervise the students attending The Rock School and serve as a liaison between The Rock School, the students, and the parents.  
The Residence Director is hired and retained expressly for the students of the Residence Program.  It is her responsibility to care for and help every resident.  In order for her to carry out these responsibilities to the fullest, the students must aid in keeping lines of communication open and direct.
