2012 Summer Ballet Intensive

JOIN THE ROCK SCHOOL
JUNE 25 - AUGUST 3, 2012

The Summer Ballet Intensive is a selective, audition-only program that immerses aspiring dancers in a minimum of three classes per day, plus rehearsals, plus classes on Saturdays for Levels 3-6.  The Rock School offers Adagio, Men's & Women's Variations, Pointe, Pirouettes, Repertoire, Jazz, Injury Prevention, & more! The Rock School Summer Intensive accepts students 8 and up.

The Rock School is offering SEVEN (2 weeks/3 weeks/5 weeks/1 week/2+1 weeks/3+1 weeks/5+1 weeks) different sessions for the Summer Ballet Intensive.  Please look to the chart below for the breakdown of these sessions. 

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Every summer, The Rock School Ballet Intensive offers students two performance opportunities for students attending the 5 Weeks session or 5 Weeks + 1 Week session.  Both performances are free for students' family & friends, and non-performing students are invited to attend.

Performances will be held at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts, an open theatre with an audience of thousands of Philadelphia children, and a theatre that will be announced soon!

FUN ACTIVITIES & WEEKEND OUTINGS
Broadway show in NYC, choreography workshops, Dorney Park, King of Prussia Mall, Philadelphia Tour, 4th of July Fireworks show, Ocean City Beach trip, Nutrition Seminars, Physical Therapy & Dance Injury Prevention, End of the Summer Celebration Dinner Cruise, and more to be announced soon!  Weekend Outings may be purchased through your student's online account.
