Annual Scholarship Gala

The Rock School annually hosts a black tie gala, the funds from which are the backbone of our scholarship fund for young dancers. The event attracts more than 400 members of Philadelphia cultural and business communities for a dynamic and inspiring performance by Rock School students, silent auction, elegant dinner, and dancing into the night.

This year's gala was held on Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Independence Seaport Museum and premiered the collaborative work between The Rock School and The Curtis Institute of Music. The Rock School's partnership with Curtis is made possible through a generous gift from Dr. and Mrs. Milton L. Rock, whose love and appreciation for both dance and music have helped Philadelphia become the vibrant cultural center it is today.
