The Rock School for Dance Education is hosting four early auditions in October 2012 for its 2013 Summer Ballet Intensive!  

The Rock School has scheduled these four audition dates early to accommodate students that have had a difficult time traveling for auditions during the traditional audition tour dates of January and February.  

The audition for the summer ballet intensive is a master class where dancers are not asked to do anything that they have not done before.  The class is not hard or complicated and is age friendly.   The audition is intended to evaluate each dancer's classical ballet training and level placement.    If there are two auditions a dancer may attend either age group as needed to avoid schedule conflicts.  When there is one audition, students are separated into groups by age and appropriate combinations are given.

Master Class/Audition Fee - $30.00 (cash or check only)
Audition Registration Done On Site
Pre-registration is NOT necessary
Please Arrive 30 minutes early to register for your audition

PLEASE BRING THREE PHOTOS TO YOUR AUDITION (REQUIRED)

Students must bring THREE 4 x 6 in. photos
Photos NO LARGER than 4x6 accepted.

1. Headshot 
2. First arabesque
3. Second position échappé
*On pointe for students studying point

MASTER AUDITION CLASS ATTIRE

LADIES
Leotard
Pink Tights
Ballet Slippers (Pointe Shoes for those studying on Pointe)
Pointe work will be given during the last 20 minutes of the audition. 
Appropriate ballet class attire that the dancer will be comfortable in.  
warm ups may be worn at the discretion of the teacher.

GENTLEMEN
